A new railway station came up at Oshiwara. Ram Prasad has been selling fruits near the station for many years. Now, he struck an idea. To cater to the crowds coming out of the station, he started selling fruit juice as well. And voila! His business flourished (which means his business grew well) and he never looked back since. So, a simple innovation helped his business to flourish.

Example number 1 of 8: We all know about globalization, right? Globalization allows all countries to trade with each other as per mutually agreed terms. In the case of India, the globalization has helped its software companies to flourish and become hugely successful.

Example number 4 of 8: A leading industrialist remarked that a good idea can give birth to an excellent start-up. However, vision, commitment, and funding are essential for it to flourish.

 

Example number 5 of 8: Daniel was shy and afraid of public speaking. So his mother enrolled him for a public speaking course. Subsequently, Daniel participated in a school competition and guess what?  He won the first prize. Oh boy! He was feeling proud and he displayed his medal with a flourish.

 

Example number 6 of 8: Emperor Ashoka’s kingdom flourished under his leadership. He was generous and benevolent (means kind). He treated all religions with equal respect.

 

Example number 7 of 8: All over the world, organic farming is catching up. Do you know what it is all about? Well, organic farming avoids the use of chemical fertilizers. Instead, it uses organic manure. This allows the crops and plants to flourish naturally and the produce is free of any chemicals. It also retains the fertility of the soil.

 

Example number 8 of 8: Chang was struggling to clear the job interviews. Finally, he took the guidance of a mentor to prepare for his interviews. Soon, he cleared an interview with flying colors (means with a good score) and was given the appointment letter on the same day. He rushed home and flashed the appointment letter with a flourish in front of his parents. They were extremely happy. He made them proud, didn’t he?
