Today’s word is: triumph. Would you like to know what it means?  It means:  a significant victory or achievement, to win, to be successful, joy or satisfaction due to a victory

Example number 4 of 8:  Stephen raised the trophy in triumph. His eyes were filled with tears and in his speech he remembered his father who recently passed away.

strongly believe that no matter which country triumphs in a war, the population of both sides suffers huge damages.

 

Example number 6 of 8: Edward had cramps in his legs during the tennis match and the match had to be stopped for a while. When the match resumed, he played flawlessly and won the game. The crowd applauded and Edward did a little dance of triumph.

 

Example number 7 of 8:  The religious books contain stories of triumph of good over evil. These are symbolic stories inspiring the readers to live their life with virtues like courage, honesty and kindness.

 

Example number 8 of 8: The design of the museum is a triumph of collaboration between the architects and historians. They have meticulously worked over last two years to prepare this impeccable blueprint.
