Today’s word is Logistics – Logistics means The process of managing the flow of information, goods, and/or services to customers or clients.

A product when produced goes through different processes while reaching to the customer. After production, goods are supplied to the wholesaler, distributor, and then the retailer and ultimately to the customer. Different organizations follow different procedures This process of arranging to supply the products to the customer is called logisticsLogistics does not always refer to supplying of finished goods to the consumers. For example, some automobile company gives the contract of producing the wheels to another company.

Now after manufacturing, these wheels need to be transported to the automobile company. This process of transportation and supplying of goods is known as logistics.
